Any eligible foreign individuals that are planning to visit Mexico are able to complete a short and easy online FMM application form for travelling to Mexico for tourism purposes.

This online process for FMM for Mexico was implemented towards the 1st of July of 2016 by the Government of Mexico, with the goal of enabling any of the future eligible travelers to apply for an FMM to Mexico.

What is an FMM

FMM is an acronym for Forma Migratoria Multiple and it is a document that is required for anyone travelling to Mexico.

FMM Requirements
  • An immigration official at the airport of entry will usually grant you 180 days in total.
  • A Tourist FMM Card can be issued for 180days in total and is issued per personincluding children.
  • Mexico requires that travellers have a passport valid for at least 6 months beyond the planned date of entry.
  • There is a separate tourist FMM card With each individual's information for the tourist FMM card.

The Mexico FMM is one of the most populars electronically issued travel authorizations that permits entry for up to thirty (30) days and is valid for a three (3) months period. It's mandatory that the visitor’s passport is valid for at least six (6) months from the date of arrival into Mexico.
